Default Hello from Missouri

After making a couple of posts on the forum it seems about time to say "Hi !"

I live about 25 miles east of Kansas City, Mo. Been in that general area for the past 40 years. Wife and 4 kids (none at home any longer, kids that is).

I have been carving for a couple of years but not serious until recently. With retirement coming in maybe 4 years I figured I had better get serious about something besides work.

I've really enjoyed reading all the posts and the tons of good information to be found here.

I am doing my best to learn to carve caricatures. Thanks for being here.

Hi Steve

Welcome! Retirement in 4 years, huh? Boy, I envy you! As my motto goes: I'd rather be carving!
