Default Hello from Minnesota

Hello to everyone. I have been lurking around reading the messages and thought I should go ahead, join the group and participate.

Welcome, indeed! I'm kind of new around here myself.

So what kind of carving are you 'into'? And how's the weather in Minnesota, anyway?

Thanks whitecree,
I'm pretty new to carving. So far I have completed some firewood, done a number on a couple of fingers, (the people who came up with the Kevlar glove are really onto something) some Santas that I gave as Christmas presents and a bark house. The weather in Minnesota depends on where you are in the state. It was sunny and almost 50 in the southwest today and in the 20's and snowing in the north.

Yes I am decoy. I like your Santas. I know some friends who would like to get their hands on those.
