Default Hello I'm Jack

Hello I'm Jack.
I carve walking sticks. However, I am new to carving, and would like some help with ideas for simple things to carve in my walking sticks, Any help will be appreciated.

Welcome Jack!

Go into the galeries (on this forum) and take a look. I think that a spirt face would be an easier first project for a walking stick. There are lots of pictures of spirit faces.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy!

Greg

Welcome aboard Jack. Lots of stick carvers on here, tons of ideas. What sort of sticks do you do and what have you tried for ideas so far? Wood Spirits are popular, but there is a whole world of things to choose from to carve into your sticks. Snakes, dragons, birds, animals, people, designs.....!
