Good evening. I came across this forum tonight and thought I would stop by. I love to carve and I carve in a few different mediums, but wood is one of my faves. This summer I decided to carve a garden gnome for our garden and thus, I got a new nick-name. Nice to meet you. GardenGnome P.S. Here is the gnome in question. He will be pushing a wheelbarrow. |

Welcome aboard GardenGnome, nice looking Gnome you have there. Should look great in the garden, plodding away with a wheelbarrow full of flowers. Will certainly add character to your garden. Nice to have you with us. Bob

HI Garden Gnome, It is interesting to see how you blocked out the gnome before you carved it and added him together. What kind of wood is he made out of? Also, how will you finish him? Paint, stain or sealer? He is a great design. Welcome to the forum. Thor |

Welcome! Gnice gnome! I'm guessing he's about 8-10 inches tall and made of eastern white pine?
