Default Hello friends

Although I have been carving for a few years I still have so many things to learn that I do not know where to start. One of my problems is painting.
So I am glad to be able to post a few questions as soon as I'm able to figure what to ask.

Thank you
Squint

Take you time and peruse the threads on the board, since most members share their painting experience you should be able to find a good starting point.

In order for us to answer your questions you will need to provide the type of carving you are working on and the look you are going for...welcome to the board.

I just started painting my carvings about two months ago and I was dead set against it at the start. What I was able to learn is to water down the paint and keep the color toned down...this approach may not suit all carving styles of course. Glad you could join us.
