| | Hello From Eastern Pennsylvania Hello All,
I am in the early stages of exploring the challenges of wood carving. I often stay at an RV resort in Mesa, AZ, for the winter and there is a wonderful group of talented carvers who produce some really great things. I would like to get a head start on characature carving and need to find a good first project and tutorial information, on tools, how to sharpen, how to not cut off more than five fingers on the first project...that sort of thing. |

| | Re: Hello From Eastern Pennsylvania Hi John,
Welcome to the WCI board and carving.
I used to go to Yuma to visit my friend who was a snowbird from Canada. Some of my other friends just left Mesa to work up in No. Cal.
Enjoy the RV life and carving. |
