Default Hello I broke my ankle and became interested

Hey everybody, I have always liked the wise looking bearded men carved on walking sticks. I just found out they are wood spirits. I found this piece of cedar a couple of years ago and kept it because it was just about a cane already. Yesterday I made my first attempt at a wood spirit on it. I guess I need a carving knife. My pocket knife wants to fold up on me. I just wanted to check out what ya'll were doing and talking about on here.
Thanks

Welcome and glad to have you along. As you can see the site is full of great people and tons of knowledge. Be careful with that knife, don't let it fold up on a finger.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark
