Willow Lake is neat always enjoy going by it. Are you possibly a member of the Prescott Wood Bee Carvers? I was trying to remember if anyone in the club carves pine knots.

No I am not a member and don't see very much in the way of wood carving here like I use to. I had quit carving for a while but have recently got back into it. It feels good to get the creative juices flowing again. Willow lake is real low lately and has a lot of weeds in it. maybe a couple of good snows in the Bradshaw's will get it back to normal? It was fair fishing in Willow Lake for the last couple of years for some nice bass and I hope they have survived the lack of water! They have built a nice walking path all around the lake and people sure use it a lot. My dog loves to take his daily walk there. I saw a young buck deer the other day on our walk. This was the first time to see a deer in over 5 years there. He sure is safe there.

It's been a while since I was by Willow Lake, but had noticed it looked low. Seems there are always folks walking on the trial. What a treat to see a deer on you walk with your doggie. I would think that the deer would be pretty protected there.

I'd like to invite you to come to a Prescott Wood Bee Carvers 'Carvealong'

Meeting Place, Date, Time
Saint Lukes Episcopal Church Parish Hall
2nd & 4th Saturday of each month (unless it falls on a Holiday)
8am - 12pm

Directions: Take highway 89 north towards the (Airport), make a right turn onto Ruger Rd., make a left turn into the Church parking lot. Walk into the courtyard and to your left you will see playground equiptment look for the glass double doors just inside you will find us.

Our meetings we call 'Carvealong' because that is what we do 'Carve' and enjoy the company of others. We have members working in relief carving, 3D sculpture, character carving, canes, chip carving, whimical houses. etc. Our membership consists of both men and women working at all skill levels.
