Hello everyone I am new to the great art of wood carving and would like to say that it is amazing the things that are possible with a little wood and some imagination. I have subscribed to the magizine and have read it, I am also working on some practice excirsizes it a book Easy Woodarving . I am being paitent though I understand that you can not be an instant expert in this craft. Anyway I don't want to be to long winded in my first post so I look forward to reading and asking plenty of questions.

Hello & welcome, woodcarving is a wonderful way to pass ones time away. For me it goes very quickly, and you will probably find the same. WCI is a wonderful magazine and you will learn a lot from it. Remember if you need help with a carving just ask. Also we love to see images of carvers work, of course when your ready. Kathy
