Well, well, well. Look what the new forum drug up. Little ole w-w jumped on it quicker than a hungry dog on table scraps.

Thanks to Bob and the Administration for quickly modifying the board in reaction to varying needs. It's much appreciated.

Back to w-w.... Welcome indeed! It's nice to keep adding members - especially those that post. Lurkers are fine.....it's just that the more input "we" get, the better we all become.

Lastly - in case I may have offended anyone - It is me that is (was) a good friend of THE wood-whittler.....at least I hope that this is who I think it is!!!!

Hi there - fellow caricature carver. Note that there is a caricature forum just for US, and I hope to see you on it. Do you use any power besides cutting out blanks? There aren't many of us left! Big Al

W-W, where are you from in GA? I live in Hartwell, up in the northeast corner on the SC border.

Hello Everyone

I am an anglo-irish woodcarver currently working in England and particularly interested in lettering. At present my main work involves antique restoration and carving inscriptions, usually in iroko. Any fellow letterers out there?

Cheers

Arapsang

Welcome aboard Arapsang and Wood-Whittler. Great to have more carvers to draw experience from. Lots of us do lettering, of all kinds, so you should find lots to talk about. Enjoy the site.

Bob
