| | Hello I just got signed up this morning and thought I should probably introduce myself. My name is Jim Davis and I live in Gilbert Arizona. I moved here 18 months ago after taking early retirement from the University of California, Irvine. Until a year ago I had never done anything artistic in my life. I began doing some wood burning and some work in copper. Yesterday Lora Irish (carving patterns.com) saw a couple of pictures of my work and told me I needed to get my stuff on this forum. So, here I am. Given I do work in both wood and copper I'll post some pictures in "off topic."

if you need help about a subject. just call out. someone will come to the rescue.
