 Hello This is all new to me. Forgive me if I am overstepping internet etiquette. My family just cleared a bit of land that included some ironwood trees. We're in a pretty rural area and we were just planning on bringing them to be milled. My limited research shows that ironwood can be used for wood carving. The larger pieces now include: two 8.5 feet by 12 inch diameter logs, two 8.5 feet by 6 inch diameter logs and one 4 foot by 12 inch diamter stump that has a large circular gowth on it. We're located in Michigan. I'd appreciate any suggestions that you might have.  |
