Default Happy to be here

I, along with so many others, have been lurking in the shadows of the forum soaking up as much information about wood carving as I possible could. I have decided to come into the light and be more actively involved in the fun by joining the forum. I have been carving for less than a year and have truly enjoyed the experience. Almost all of my carvings so far have been from Lynn Doughty's Blog (thank you so much for the inspiration Lynn) although I have recently started my "own" carving of a sword-wielding knight. I will post some photos of the pieces that I have carved as soon as I can figure out how this whole process works. Thanks again for all of the knowledge that you impart to us novices.

Thanks everyone for all of you kind words, and don't worry, no one is going to scare me away. I have a permit to carry (wink wink). I am posting photos of all the cavings I have done in my 9 month long carving carrier. The first three are from Lynn's Blog, the frankenstein is from WCI, the indian and horse are also attributed to Lynn, and the "Slaying Dragons" knight is my own original. Hope that you enjoy them.

Welcome BrandantR:
The other way to post photos is to go to the Carver Galleries and click on "Upload photos." The process is similar to attachments to postings, but you can edit the photo information, give it a title, desciption, etc. You can put it in a gallery specific to your interests too.
