Default Guess what????

Good morning all:

Yes I am new here. I have been carving for about 4 years and I find it really relaxing. I started with a carving class and we carved a Horned Grebe. I continued with carving wildfowl for awhile until I tried carving Wood Spirits. I have carved in Cottonwood Bark and am now trying my hand at carving a Cypress Knee.

Here is a link to a slideshow of some of my recent carvings: Slide Show

I am also an avid Stamp Collector. I have a huge collection that I have entered in competitions and won ribbons with. I buy and sell a lot on the internet.

I enjoy carving outside, under the tree in the backyard. My stamp collecting hobby is confined to indoors on days that are not nice for carving outside. Since most of my stamp collection is online, I am able to buy and sell at work on my breaks and lunches. (Haven't yet found out how to carve at work).

I will be asking many questions of this forum. I will read a lot of the posts so that I don't repeat questions.

Thanks for this opportunity to be a member of this group.

Bob
