| | Greetings from Arizona Just signed on yesterday, after "lurking" for a while. I have been carving for a lot longer than I have been chatting on a computer, so if I make any boneheaded mistakes, please let me know.
For over a year I have been working on a "cartoon" chess set that pits the Danish Vikings against the Jihad terrorists. I may never finish it because people keep buying the one they see me working on. Does anyone have a good idea (short of doing all my carving in isolation) to help me finish this project?
Looking forward to meeting many of you.

| | Re: Greetings from Arizona Hi Dan, and welcome. Nice to see a fellow Arizonian here on the boards. As to your question complete one full set and have duplicates made. Then sell those! Heinecke Wood Products
does custom duplication. Nice carving pictured.

| | Re: Greetings from Arizona O.K. Now I'm really going to be laughed at as a "bonehead", but I see that the responses have pictures next to their name and other stuff added that I have no idea how to do.
The picture of the bears was attached in an attempt to fit in with the other replies I have seen (i.e. name, cute carving or photo, and contact information). I want to know how to do that.
Thank you all for the support on the chess set. I will try to post pictures of the ones I have left. WARNING...I am even a worse photographer tan I am a computer user.
Thanks for the support. I'm liking this already...just hope it doesn't turn out to be as addictive as carving was.

Just go to quick links', down flag, click on edit avatar, follow the instructions, browse, find the picture you want then upload it. Whoolah ! But first have your pic ready, crop it, lighten it, and resize it to about 700 pixels sq.

Thanks again,

It is very addictive, especially with all the really nice and talented people here. I've been spending so much time here I'm deciding if I should give up carving and just read about it instead. LOL> | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
