| | Greetings all from Oz. Although I have been a member for a while, this is my first post. I have been kept busy reading the forums and other articles. I have been carving for nearly six years. We have a wonderful variety of timbers here in Australia to work with as well as imports. I work predominatly with Beech, Silky Oak, Mango and Jacaranda. In the near future I will some pics of my work.

| | Re: Greetings all from Oz. Welcome, and looking forward to seeing your carvings. I hope you can display one carved from Jacaranda. I did a gouache painting of a jacaranda tree which was part of a garden located at a hotel in Mexico. Eager to see the color of the wood.
