Default Greetings All From New Member

New Member, retired merchant, carving beginner, intermediate woodworker, years of experience as plein-air painter in oil. At this time, I have started with relief carving only; learning how to use the various gouges and woods. My very first effort was a scroll on a plank from the firewood stack which I did with carpenters chisels. Oh, Lord, very tough wood. I welcome any and all suggestions, specially on relief carving. Thank you and God Bless. William

Hi Ron:

Thanks for your message. What kind of carving do you do? You're not worried that Dave might be looking for you?

William

Hey William, Welcome!! I sure hope you and Dave behave yourselves, he has always been the 'bad' one in the family! Deborah

P.S. I'm the good one in the family, in case you didn't notice!
