| | Greetings All From New Member New Member, retired merchant, carving beginner, intermediate woodworker, years of experience as plein-air painter in oil. At this time, I have started with relief carving only; learning how to use the various gouges and woods. My very first effort was a scroll on a plank from the firewood stack which I did with carpenters chisels. Oh, Lord, very tough wood. I welcome any and all suggestions, specially on relief carving. Thank you and God Bless. William |
