Default Greetings to All Carvers

I love this site. I am not the most literate at computers but am trying my first post. I am a Pastor of a church and a full time Special Education teacher. My time for carving is very limited, but I love carving. I tried carving for the first time about 30 years ago. I carved a little and then got my priorities wrong and didn't carve for about 27 years. Am back now and have joined a club. Have tried caricature and relief and enjoy all areas. Recently I did a sign with some lettering and also find this very interesting. I will probably do a lot more listening (reading) than speaking (writing) but wanted you all to know that you are appreciated by a lot of us who will not say much. Thank you for all your expertise and wisdom

Sincerly, DonY

Glad you're here DonY. I can understand your limited time. Special Ed teacher and a Pastor of a church. Lots of demands on your time. But you are right about this forum, there are lots of very talented, friendly, and helpful folks here. Tom H
