| | Greetings to All Just stopped by to wish everyone a joyous holiday season. Haven't been on the board for a looooong time. A lot of new faces. Still working 50-60 hours a week and trying to build our retirement home on the island which takes about two hours to drive to. I hope everyone has a great Christmas, and I hope to see you all next year when things settle down.

Merry Christmas, Ric!
BTW, I've never seen an island that you could drive to, do you have one of those amphibious vehicles? |

| | Re: Greetings to All Nothing politically incorrect in my book about wishing a merry Christmas, and right back at you with the merriest Christmas. Bob there is a bridge that provides acces to the island. Most of the islands around here are accessable by ferry only however. Mine is an interesting trip. I drive to the ferry dock, take a half hour boat ride to the other side of the sound, drive over a floating bridge which may or may not be extended up for the ships to pass, and then drive to the port towns to reach the bridge to our island. I use the boat ride both ways to catch up on some small carving projects. Sundays I catch up on getting wood chips out of my truck.
