Just wanted to say HI. I've been carving on and off since I was a Boy Scout oh so many years ago, but recently I have decided to get more into it. I picked up WCI and found a wealth of knowledge and then I found the forum. I've lurked here for a while and have found a great group of people so I finally registered. Definitely looking forward to working with all of you.

Welcome aboard Link. I too am grateful for your service to your country. I spent some time over there in Desert Storm and even got some carving done. I got to carve a walking stick from a piece of wood that one of our Seabees fished out of the Persian Gulf.
