| | Greetings Good Afternoon,
I'm new to this message board. I've taken WI for a number of years. Started carving about 10 years ago when I moved to NE Iowa and joined the Whittler's and Liars Club. I also became a member of the North East Iowa Woodcarvers Club. A year ago I moved to Wisconsin and am a member of the Wisconsin River Woodcarvers Club.
I enjoy doing a variety of carving, though recently I have spent most of my time Chip Carving. I look forward to adding my 2 cents worth once in awhile and learning from everyone the rest of the time.

| | Re: Greetings Welcome Rip! Hum, whittlers and liars club! Sounds like a good mix. I doubt that you'll run into anything close to that here on the board. Just some tall tales and story tellers. But always good advice. And everybody is a master carver too. Well I said no liars, so I shouldn't tell a lie either. There are a few of us who are not master carvers....But it's still a great place to be.
Welcome.

| | Re: Greetings welcome, i joined the site about 6 months ago, i now call the board ,"woodcarving University", if you can't learn about woodcarving here, i am not sure it can be learned, just ask and you will receive, I know of at least 4 other carvers that have had a rebirth of carving desire since finding this site, so enjoy and learn, Sam | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
