John | i guess i would have to say relief type carving, i'm planning on a small residential sign that would consist of wildlife (either fowl or animal) as part of the frame with my sir name below possibly in raised letters, i'm still throwing some ideas around.
i also posted in the materials section on the type of wood to use since it would be exposed to weather. |

But if you did contact them they might be able to connect you up with someone. Even a once every couple of months visit to one of these groups could be extremely beneficial to your carving career.
