Default Good Afternoon :)

Hey everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself real quick!
You can call me Nuin, which is the name of the Druidic symbol for the ash tree (the Druids had an alphabet of symbols that looked like runes, called the Ogham, for their most sacred trees). The ash tree represents restrictions or limitations and I am determined to overcome that meaning.
I started woodcarving because my dad is a carpenter. I love making stuff with him and wanted him to teach me to carve. Yes. Well. Apparently he lied and doesn't know very much about carving (which he know admits, by the way). I still want to carve so I figured I'd go out in the (internet) world and find people to help me!

Hello Nuin, and welcome. We have some really good carvers and woodburner's here. Any idea of what type of carving you would like to learn Woodspirits maybe?

Hello Nuin,

Welcome. I think your determination to learn to carve is commendable. Read through the posts, zero in on the type of carving and the subjects you might want to carve and post a lot of questions. Remember, the only dumb queston is the one not asked. Every carver starts right where you do..

Good luck.
