Hello All,
Haven't really found a group that seemed to fit my style of carving without getting caught up in nitpicking. I'd enjoy showing my work to the weekend modeler /carver wood worker who wishes to take a break from the world and enjoy aviation. I've been carving for 15 years. Alot of my art involves scrollsaw palm sander and hand Acrylic water based painting. I don't feel my art is exact replica style but intresting and fun for young and old. Thanks! I really enjoy carving model aircraft. My wife does to as during the winter and summer weekends there isn't much that can beat a good ole model project. Some call what I do "Prototyping" But it's more like pine wood derby. All the wood I use is from construction sites and wooden pallets. Patterns are made from line drawings then transposed to wood. A model can be constructed in a day and ready to carve the next day. Refrence photos are all over the internet,but alot of my projects are within Wa/Ore. I'm excited to show more!!!!! ArtworksIII
