Thanks Al
Putting ships in bottles requires 2 things, an understanding spouse, and a broad knowledge of nautical cuss words <vbg>......seriously though, I made what was supposed to be a beginners model of a 2 masted fore and aft schooner for my sister. Once it was in the bottle, I was faced with 65 black cotton threads protruding from the bottle, each of which needed to be pulled in sequence........nearly put me off the idea lol

Thanks Joy,
Must admit the horses were a favourite with me too. My friend in Moncto NB is a crafty lady and built doll-houses for her 2 grandaughters, and the rocking horses were made as part of the furnishings

Thanks for the kind words Eddy,
Your friend was quite correct <grin> and the snake is a Tiger snake, quite common in the state of Victoria, not normally aggressive, but will attack if he feels threatened.Venom is deadly but fortunately his biting apparatus is not very efficient in that his fangs are fairly short, so probably doesn't make the 2 step rating lol

Nice work, Thanks for sharing. The sway back looks similar to a carving I tried from Gary Bates book. I ended up breaking the legs with too tight a grip and never did finish it.
