Default G'day...yet again

Iwas asked by a few folk to post some snaps of some of my work...fact is, I don't have much to show, as I usually give my carvings away to people that I think would enjoy them, and of course a few go to family as gifts.
Anyway, after due consultation with Doug Ridley (thanks Doug)I am going to try and post some snaps as attachments...soooooo, fingers crossed and drum roll please

The cartoon horse was copied from a pattern in WCI

Rocking horses were made for a friend in New Brunswick and measure about 2 1/4 inches floor to head

Walking stick with snake and flag is being made for a cousin in England

Bottled ship is for enjoyment of Squbrigg

Yeah Al, I wondered how he carved that bottle myself. Never tried carving any glass.
Seriously, John, what is the water made of?

Really outstanding work!

I asked a friend of mine (if you can believe this) how he got the ship in the bottle and he told me that he could tell me but then he'd have to kill me! Ha! Ha!

I like the walking stick. Is that one of those 2-step snakes that you all have down under?

Doug,
the oldtimers were given to using putty, but I prefer to use "Pasticene" not sure if you would know it by that name, but it's a modelling "clay" for kids that appears to based on some type of wax,. gets softer as it gets warmer in your hands..
