Hi Robbie, Saw your post and you inspired me to do the same. I think there may be a few more Ozzie carvers out there hiding under their keyboards. Will have to coax them out to this forum. Hope we can get together really soon for a weekend carve.

Thanks slather--I never heard of cypress knees until recently. I've been carving for over 20 yrs. but I have been isolated at least to cypress knees and probably to other wood and carving material as well. Since I am on WCI, I've been exposed to new things. I suppose it will continue.
