Default Garry Dewar

Good day to you all. I am a new member from Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island. I have been carving for about 12 years since my retirement in 1995.
I have carved mostly ducks with some song birds along the way. I am now branching out and starting to carve Raptors as I think they are beautiful birds.
When I first retired I lived in Phoenix Az and did a lot of carving there as it is the thing to do in Arizona, and I learned many helpful hints from fellow carvers there.

Welcome Garry -

I went to Vancouver Is for part of my honeymoon. Visited Victoria and Butchart Gardens. Didn't get to explore further north on the Is but it sure seems like a GORGEOUS part of the world to be in.

Would love to see some photos of your raptor carvings. LOVED Jurassic Park!!
<kidding> Seriously - birds of prey are AWESOME!!

!
