 First - timer Greetings from Texas ! I have just found this site and have registered. I have been carving for 20 years or so. I carve mostly, characatures and decoys. I also do wood turning and carve for enhancement. I look forward to learning from all of you.

| Re: First - timer Hi Buckeye, Welcome. Sounds like you've got a lot of experience and will be a great contributor of knowledge to the WCI board. I've been to Texas several times, plus my wife's aunt lives in Houston. I got some twisty sticks there, some mesquite around the Hill country, and some Yucca out around Lobo and Alpine.
