Hello all, This is scott in nw vergina, well this is my first carving, I would like any and all oppinions.. the good bad and the ugly!! thank you in advance to all that reply

Nice job on the carving. You said you used a Buck Knife may I suggest your next one you try a utility knife with a new blade. Thats what I use 80% of the time. Not everyone agrees but if you are just starting it will save on tools until you are certain of the style of carving you will do

Oh NO! Please say you didn't really use a Buck on this! lol
I collect knives and I am very touchy about my Bucks! Your carving is really cute, hard to believe it's your very first one! Great job!
