Default fairly new here

hey everyone hows it goin. just thought i'd say hello and introduce myself. i started tinkering around with carvings last year around this time. started simple with the ball in cage and some other small things using a pocket and a flexcut knife. over the year i picked up a few gouges here and there and thought i'd try carving some xmas presents after not carving all summer. i bought some cottonwood bark off the internet, which apparently isnt native to PA, and that stuff carves like butter compared to the garbage i just grabbed out of the woods one day. im pretty happy with the way my first wood spirit turned out. i'll try and get a pic on here some how. im young and eager to learn from everyone on here so...ttyl i guess.
