Default Excited new carver
Hey, I am so excited that I finally followed my heart and took a 3-week wood carving class through the community center. I have carved my first tree spirit and have been offered a substatial amount to sell it.

I just found a walking stick and am looking forward to carving it in the next few days - however, I would like to carve a female's face. I looking for suggestions for a female face, I found this site and quickly signed up.

I look forward to receiving advice and suggestions from other wood carvers. It's cool to think that I have 100s of mentors in this site!!

Welcome and WOW!! like your enthusiasm, and yes is like a bad case of swine flu, very contagious...not the enthusiasm, woodcarving, well..umm, err...well yes, the enthusiasm too...anyway, welcome!!
