Default Dave

Hi. New carver. Ed Beitzel, the Bear Man, introduced me to power tool carving at his "booth" at Bryce, Utah. He invited me to try his tools while he carved bears. He referred me to Woodcarving Illustrated for information about carving. I'm trying to include a picture of my first three carvings. Two knots and a piece of cottonwood bard. Face on bark is about 1 1/4 inch high.

Welcome, Dave. Once you get used to a power carver, you will wonder how you ever carved anything without it. Excellent carvings also.
