| | Cherbear From Alaska Here Cherbear from Alaska here folks. I love to carve relief, small animals and caricature mostly. I love Flexcut gouges and am looking to buy a new backbend set of gouges if I can find them soon. Thanks for listening.

| | Re: Cherbear From Alaska Here Hi Cherbear, are you going to post any pictures of your carvings, I went to Alaska last year, we really enjoyed it, I wished I could have spent more time there.
I like the flexcut tools also, if you get the backbend gouges let us know what you think.

I noticed this website seems to have just about all of the Flexcut tools and the prices as they claim are the lowest--I think. http://nt.bnt.com/mhconline/shopfram...line/menu.html
Click on Flexcut in the index, then the Flexcut Tool Chart on top, and go to the bottom.
...Not promoting a vendor--just a tip.... |

| | Re: Cherbear From Alaska Here Welcome aboard Cherbear. Alaska....lots of great carving subjects up that way! Bear, moose, caribou, wolves, ... ! Great scenery too! Tough place to live though, cold and winter's too long for my liking. Glad to see you with the group, a fine bunch of folks we have here too!

Going to Alaska, to hunt bear, is one of his all time biggest dreams...he's a crazy man, I know!! I don't see why anyone would want to hunt anything that's bigger than they are and can hunt them right back.....and better!! Again, Welcome, we'll look forward to seeing your work! Deborah |
