 Re: New thread Hi All, Great idea Bob...so I guess I wiil add 2 cents here. I am a very new carver...started last Christmas('03) and so far I have carved 2 Santa's. I used the same pattern but different woods. I grew up in S. Texas, moved to Oregon in '76. I have always considered myself just a good o'le boy...everybodies friend. I have been a printer for 36 years and still love the business. I live in Portland, OR. I have always loved working with wood and the avenue of carving has opened up a whole new avenue of creativeness. Well that ought to be enough for now. Chahlie  |
