Greetings everyone. I am fairly new at this carving business and I just found this site. I was looking for others that carve cotton bark into whimsical houses. It is a fascinating time. There are two or three of us that gather at least twice a week and we are members of the Ozark Woodwhittliers and carvers club here in Springfield, Mo.
Look forward to getting to know you.
Jim

Hello Jim,

Welcome. I just joined also and I'm finding this to be a great place to meet nice people, see a lot of great carvings and get technical help and information.

Hello & welcome, I enjoy carving cottonwood limb and root. I haven't carved on the bark yet, but it's on my to do list. I have some bark I've collected from a wash near my home. Also, have some bark that a friend gave me from Colorado. So it's just a matter of making the time to do it. LOL
I belong to the Prescott Wood Bee Carvers (Arizona) and belonging to a club is just the greatest. I have a link to our webpage at the bottom of this post if you would like to see what we are doing.
Our WCI members are terrific folks, super carvers and down right nice folks. If you need help just ask!
Kathy
