Default Brand New Carver Here

Hello everyone,

Im have jst started to get into the world of carving. I havent yet started on my first peice yet (im still waiting on the wood) but im already feeling excited about it. Im going to start by doing a few relief carvings then i really want to get into caricature carvings as well. If anyone has any suggestions or tips i'll will greatly apreciate it.

Since you can't carve yet anyway...this is the perfect time to "hone" your sharpening skills. I promise you will appreciated the time you spend learning now!

So you want to be a carver? You want to spend lots and lots of money on all kinds of tools and buys lots of wood and different kinds of wood, you want to keep a good supply of crazy glue and bandaids....hummmm have you seen a doctor? ha haCowboy
