Hey Bob...WE knew that! Just look at the diversity of our addresses and it reinforces the fact that carving is universal--and we're all friends here. You can't find this kind of range of knowledge (and sense of humor) in one single carving club.

I really like this site...it is easy to use, quite informative! But I think the thing that makes this site so great is not only the backing of Fox Chappell, WCI, yourself to a great degree, but it is the open sharing of experience and knowledge as well as friendships that develope even over the distances involved. THANK YOU so very much for being there!!

Gee Bob, sounds like lots of people are figuring out what we already knew....This board is the best carving club to belong to! Where else can one find so many people from so many different places, sharing and appreciating so many different styles of carving. I've got a lifetime of carving lessons and inspiration from this site in the couple years I've been here. It is simply the best place to come to for anything to do with carving. Not to mention great friendships made! Why, I even found a set of wonderful parents and a wise guy brother....I know we're related....we're both too much of smart mouths not to be!

Have to agree completly. The only problem is now the board is so popular that I find it hard to read all of the posts and still have time to go about my busy life. This board has really grown an as expressed by many of the people here we have all become family. I say this with all honesty because I had the pleasure of visiting with Callynne a few week ago and I had never me her before but I felt so at home and you would have thought we knew each other for years. Thanks Bob & Fox Chapel for this message board and the chance to make new friends. Heck if I hadnt found this board I would have thought my tools were sharp now with the expertise of Rick in Seattle I now know what sharp is.

We've been adding new members at a pace of around two/day for the last month or so. Not too bad. That's by my unofficial count.

I'm with Colin.....I have started to miss reading some posts because there are so many now. I try to focus on the Beginner, General and Caricature sections as that's were my interests are, but really like reading them all.

I hope the Gallery continues to grow also. I think that adds a nice feature to the site.

We are continuing to add at the same pace of 2/day. I think this is encouraging.

I would like to see more attention given to the Gallery. It seems that there have not been as many visitors or pictures posted recently. Does anyone have any ideas to highlight that feature? Or maybe it's fine as it is.

I can't add much to what has already been said. The sharing of ideas and tips by the forum members has been second to none. Bob your admin group and magazine support staff have done an outstanding job and have always been there to help solve problems when required. Thanks...Reg
