Its good to see all the positive feed back about starting late in life on a new Hobby as I too have just started and will be 44 in September.

I started last year at 40 and I am loving every minute of it .
one day I hope to be good enough to post up pics , ( I also will
have to learn how to post them )

Welcome to the forum. I started carving at 40....my mother started carving about that age too.....both of us, after long histories of other art interests. I wish I had this forum to come to back then. You are ahead of the game already. Welcome and enjoy.

hruukki , No matter what age you are you are welcome on this site , some of us are getting ripe but now we have more time to carve IF THE BETTER HALF SAYS ITS OK
