Default Another Newbie

Hi Everyone,
New here, found a link on the Woodburner site for a tutorial so I jumped on over. Haven't had time to look around much yet but I definately will soon. I've been woodburning since 1981,for the first 20 yrs I used a $10 weller pen with interchangable tips. I had no idea they made fancy pens like my Optima.Gotta love the inter net .When I got my puter in '99' woodburning was the first thing I looked up. A while ago I ran across an artilce about gourds, burning and carving on.Now I've never put my dusty dremel thru it's paces, so I order so gourds and some fancy books and I just fell in love with another art form to while away my time.

Now I'm off to see the site.

Just CURIOUS!!! I got a pm today from ??? and under their name where it says member or moderator it said banned. Why? and should I stay away? It wasn't offensive, just a quote from somewhere unrelated to burning or carving.
Thanks VickieJ

Welcome, Vickie. Hope you enjoy your look around.

I got a strange PM when I first joined. I ignored it and it hasn't happened again.
