| | Another New Member Good morning:
Just wanted to say hello, and let everyone
know how much I enjoy looking at the work
being done. I took some classes at the Creed CO, Rendezvous
a couple of years ago and have loved carving ever
sense. Looking at the pictures of what can be carved is
great. Looking forward to the inspiration.

| | Re: Another New Member Nicely done Geezer, that first one has a special something. Isn't it great what you can achieve with a sharp knife, a stick of wood and a little immagination. Well done and welcome aboard.

FEB - The sticks are Aspen, lite and easy
to carve. Does take a little stain to bring out the highlights. I spray a coat of sealer on before staining to keep it from absorbing too much.
When hiking here in Colorado the last thing you need is a heavy stick....
Old Geezers need all the help they can get. |
