thanks for the welcome everyone!

thought I would show you guys what I've been up to the past couple of weeks and show you how much I appreciate the online tutorials!

Tom H and carverswoodshop blogs have been very inspirational.

The wood burned gnome is my first try. The little wizard/gnome with actual legs I carved while following along with the tutorial on the arms and legs.
The ball in a box was carved while watching MrSplinters youtube video.

just wanted to share my progress with you guys. this is my first attempt at carving hair.
making an S is a lot harder than people make it look
