You may call me spookhouse. I've been carving for somewhere around 1 to 2 years. Wood spirits are my specialty. But now im in need of assistance in the art of caricature. I look forward to meeting you all. Im hoping that this forum is different from those that i have previously had expierience with. From what i have seen you are all polite and noble people. I am always surprised at how astute some people are! They come here for a quick browse and see the character of the people here! You are welcome here and very right, there are some of the finest people around on this forum, helpful, extremely knowledgeable in all walks of life and endeavors and they like to joke around a lot, not sure about people like that? But having been on lots of forums myself, this one is unique and I am very thankful for the people here! That is a long winded way of saying you are welcome and thank you for reminding me what a great bunch we have here and I personally do not thank everyone enough for being my friend.................and victims! LOL

Welcome Spookhouse. I took the leap and tried my hand at a large caricature and the feedback told me I am on the right track. I typically do wood spirits but if you ever come across something unusual with a piece of wood (as I have), its a good chance to experiment. I hope to try again sometime as there are amazing caricature carvers on this board. Look forward to seeing some of your woodspirits...I need some more inspiration
