Smile I am a new member who need some help

My 8 years old boy watched the Nutcracker in Omaha with his school 3rd Grade Class last December 4. He asked me to make him a Nutcracker Soldier. Does anyone have a pattern on how to make it.

Would appreciate your help!

I don't have a pattern, but you can buy a kit that all you have to do is paint - would actually be a good project for BOTH of you.

I'm not trying to talk you out of making your own - just another option.

Anyway, here's an example:

If you google, Guards Men or Guards Man on images you'll get something.

Good luck with the project.

An alternative come over to Buckingham Palace she's usual a few knocking around there, busby and all.

I have a Holiday 2002 Wood Carving magazine. 6 page article above the materials list is Recommended reading: Ornamental and figure nutcracker, By Judith A. Rittenhouse, collectors books 1993. Maybe you can get it out of a library.
I tryed scaning the pages but no go.
