Default White cedar

Hi Everyone
Can any body tell me where i can get some white cedar to carve some fans from.I wanting to give this a try.

I would try Sally and David Nye, they put out the fan bird carving books. I know they sell White Cedar blanks. Might be just what you need to try it out.

I think they are about 5 or 6 dollars a piece. Another place you might try is Del Stubbs of Pinewood Forge Scandinavian Knives I know he makes fan birds and lots of other stuff. Maybe he might have some for sale. Just a chance. Good luck with the search. I know all about the dipping into the retirement...Ha
