Default Tupelo Supplier

Hi,
Here's someone I've bought Tupelo and several other woods from including kiln dried elm and white cedar.
Big River Cypress and Hardwoods Inc. email info@bigrivercypress.com
If you do a search under Big River Cypress you'll find their website.

I don't know if they ship small quantities, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. They're 50 miles from me, In Blountstown, FL, and have a huge warehouse with lots of beautiful wood! They sell cherry, cypress (some of the prettiest cypress full cut long 2x10's I've ever seen at half the price of anyone in our area), pecan, oaks, white cedar, poplar, sycamore (my favorite wood!), and TUPELO!
They sell graded green and kiln dried, though all I saw was kiln dried. Their site says they also sell finished wood.

Their prices are great! When I had what I wanted, I said, "now show me what else you have that would be pretty for carving". They walked me through the warehouse and we through on a board of this and that for a few dollars more, well below value, to let me try them out. Also got a 24x24x42" block of cypress.

Don't arrive a half hour before closing, these Folks have an hour's work to close! Something about moving lumber that makes you ready to go home at the end of the day!

Wade

Wade,
Where is Blountstown? I am on the Gulf Coast, about 30 miles north of Clearwater..... I would go for a load of tupelo if it wasn't a days drive.

Thanks Hugh,
that is a pretty far haul.... I will have to check into it. If we were to pass nearby while traveling, I would want to check the place out and get some wood. Thank you.
