 Thread Spools Has anyone ever carved Sewing Thread Spools? When I was in Arizona, I picked up some at an antique store. I carved faces on them and they turn out pretty well.  |

| Re: Thread Spools They are much easier to carve in basswood. You can get them from Smokey Mountain Woodcarvers at http://www.woodcarvers.com/turnings.htm. I just turn my own on a mini lathe nowdays.  Carving,Don |
