You might try looking up a seller on Ebay by the name of fullcycle. They sell lots of wood, both on and off ebay. I've bought from them several times and always been happy with what I received. They've also offered to glue up bigger blocks for me. they do this for carvers at Dollywood, which is near them.
I got some outrageous kiln dried sycamore from them!
Good luck!
Wade

Hi Wade:, oops , I did look at full cycle, I just typed my reply back as full focus.

When I got your reply, I was on the phone with them. ! Am glad to find someone so near by. What part of Florida are you from? We lived in Florida for 25 years in Ft. Myers, Cape Coral.

Glad you found them! They're good folks, as you can see by their feedback. This piece is wild, hu?!?
I'm in Port St. Joe, FL, near panama city. When we sell here, we'll be in Ethridge, TN, near Lawrenceburg, full time.

here's another great piece! Check out the measurements! If I had any more room on my wood shelves, I'd sure grab this!

it is a beauty, but I am looking for a carving ready plaque.
I know where Pt. Joe is, I lived in Pensacola for a few years too. The beaches there are the best in Florida, in my estimation. Where is Etheridge, and do you have a website to look at your carvings?
