I know where there is a large mulberry tree in my hometown. I bet they wouldn't like finding it missing LOL....

here in the south after katrina, it shouldnt be hard to find some mullburry, down.
im not a woods man as to be as good as to identify bark, or i could go get some from the local wood mulch yard where they haul the busted trees..

maybe some other old sothern boy might be able to help ya.

its sure got a pretty yeller color to the wood. but fades to chestnut brown with time... in my experiance

how big of a piece ya need?

ill keep an eye out for some.

Oh, anything from 3x5 or bigger. Would just like a piece big enough to carve something into and play with for now. I saw a piece in Mulberry at the show, it was light with a very dark grain. Looked beautiful. I was told it was nice to work with too. Thanks
