About 20 years ago someone gave me some carving "wood". I have hauled it around and finally stored it here on the ranch. I do not remember who gave it to me or even when. It is extremely light weight making me think it is some kind of bark. One side appears to be the outer bark and is relatively flat. The other sides are wavy. It does have growth rings. I was hunting some other wood and ran across this piece. Anybody know what it might be?

Not sure what kind of wood it is but it resembles something I picked up on the beach one time. I had thought then it had been sitting on the ocean floor and the waves were made from the way the ocean floor sand was. That would be my guess but that is just a guess.
